Natnatee Dokmai

Assistant Professor · CMKL University

I am an Assistant Professor at CMKL University. My research connects cryptography, security and privacy, bioinformatics, and science and technology studies (STS). Across these areas, I focus on building privacy infrastructure: technical and sociotechnical systems that enable people and institutions to work with sensitive data responsibly. I develop privacy-enhancing technologies for biomedical and genomic data and study how these systems are deployed, governed, and maintained.

My work is multidisciplinary, combining methods from computer science, engineering, and science and technology studies (STS). I am especially interested in the intersection between digital infrastructure and culture—how technical systems embed social values, and how communities and institutions shape the meaning and practice of privacy.

I am looking for undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students, as well as research collaborators. Please reach out at natnatee@cmkl.ac.th.
